Lorac Mega Pro limited edition palette

I have been sick for the last few days and could not find an inspiration or motivation to do anything. And then the other day my limited edition palette has arrived. For now posting at least few pics...promise as soon as I feel much better I will share my thoughts on this beauty and will post more pictures as well.

So, finally, after a very long time, I am adding my thoughts on this palette. Since I got it, I had a chance to try it and have to say I was not disappointed at all. The palette came nicely packaged and all my eye shadows were intact when they arrived. I was stalking this palette at midnight through Lorac's website but after 30 minutes of refreshing the site getting the same message - "coming soon" I gave up (mostly because I had to work the next day). I was really determined to get this palette because even though I am eying both the first and second original palettes, I never committed to get any of those. So when I saw on YouTube that this palette is coming out but it is a limited edition one, I promised myself to get it.

As said before, I was trying to get it right at midnight when the palette supposed  to come out but was not successful. During my 15 break at work I gave it another chance and to my surprise, the palette was on there and still available. I ran immediately to get my purse and credit card and hit check out right away. I did the entire purchase on my iPhone so I wasn't sure if the ordered would go through but I did not experience any difficulties and received my confirmation via e-mail that my order was placed successfully. So now all I had to do was to wait for the palette to arrive. For few days the information regarding the payment was pending on my credit card and then it disappeared; so I wasn't sure if that meant they did not have enough palettes and I will not be getting mine or if it was just my credit card company processing the order. What a relief it was when I received the confirmation that my order has shipped and few days later I was holding the palette in my hands.

You can find 32 colors in this palette. They are all extremely creamy and easy to use and I literally love all of them. As typical for Lorac, the first 2 rows are matte colors and the second 2 rows are shimmery or glitters. I absolutely love how these colors swatch and look on the eye. I cannot compare this palette to other Lorac palettes as I do not own anything else from this company, but if those are at least as good as this one, then they are worth every penny you pay for them. If I remember right the price for this palette was a great steal as well. And though this was a limited edition, I think you still might be able to find it on Amazon and maybe E-bay.

If you get the chance to purchase this Lorac Mega Pro palette, go for it. There is a large range of colors and finishes. From the warm nude and brown colors to berry and shimmery blue ones. Even if you never buy or get another palette, you can find everything in one in this eye shadow palette. Also, only 4 of the colors in this palette are in it original Lorac palettes; thus you are getting unique eye shadows to Lorac. I am more of a neutral kind of girl but I still see myself reaching for the more bold colors. The packaging is a win win, too. It is slick so it does not take up too much space in your travel bag and you have all the colors you might possible need. It will probably not fit in your make up bag, but if you wrap it between your clothes or a towel, I guarantee they will survive in you carry on or luggage without any problems.

I feel lucky I was able to put my hands on this palette and if I have to do the hunt for it again, I would do so. Lorac did an amazing job with the quality and color range of these eye shadows. They are all easy to work with and I did not notice any fall out with the colors I used so far. And even if I will probably stick to the more warm and nude colors in this palette, I can see reaching for the bold colors for special occasions and parties.
