Bundle Monster - Polynesia XL stamping plates (review and thoughts)

Hi guys,

so today I am back with another short review for you. As the sun finally came out, I feel full of energy and decided to grab this moment to give you a review on these Bundle Monster XL stamping plates.

Today I have the very first set out of the four sets Bundle Monster came out with. You get five XL stamping plates in each set and they vary from individual images through "buffet" style images.
I got mine of www.bundlemonster.com  and the price differs depending on when you buy them and if you have a coupon code. The full price for the set is $19.99 but you can usually get it for around $17.59. You can check out the set and detailed description under this link http://www.bundlemonster.com/nail-stamping-plates/full-sets.html .
Each plate has a blue protective film you need to peel off before using the plates or you won't be able to transfer the images onto the stamper and your nails. The foil is easy to peel off and I had no problems at all getting them off the plates.
The metal part of the stamping plate is attached to a dark blue sturdy plastic with the Bundle Monster logo on its back. I like they decided to go with a darker color as I feel when you have light gray or white backing, the plastic gets dirty easier...by that I mean after removing any nail polish getting on the back, with the darker color you have a better chance it won't stay visibly stained.
In one of my previous posts I reviewed Bundle Monster's large stamping plate holder. As you can see, the stamping plates are exactly the same size as the MoYou London stamping plates; including the full size images. They might be a tiny bit more narrow but they are definitely longer.
After you peel off the blue protective foil, you are ready for stamping. In my experience I did not need to do anything special with the plates. Some people clean them with acetone before the first use but I tend to skip this step and start stamping. Generally, after you apply the stamping polish, at some point you will have to clean it anyways.
Also, with Bundle Monster stamping plates it can be a hit or miss sometimes but I have to say I had no problems stamping with the Polynesia stamping plates so far. I have not tried them all yet but the ones I did try, worked great!!!
With these sets you are getting 3 different designs. 1 plate has 12 individual full size images that are really fun and they fit my nails perfectly. So far I only used the Mundo de Unas stamping nail polishes with them but I think they would work with any stamping nail polish brand or even a regular nail polish.
The second stamping plate type is a half and half ones. You get 6 full size individual images and the other half has a square shaped large image. I really like the variety and the idea of these stamping plates giving you almost endless options. Again, you get 2 of these in this set.
And the last type are the "buffet" style stamping plates. The first set has 2 hula dancers with different tiny individual images. Again, it is up to your imagination how you would use them and apply them on your nails.
I hope this quick review was helpful to you guys. Sorry if some of the images have reflections of my light box in them....as you may know, it is almost impossible to capture them sometimes. My final thought on the Polynesia stamping plates is that they are definitely worth a shot and I personally like them a lot. And as you may have already guessed, I also own the second set and thinking about purchasing the third set sometimes in August or September.

Bundle Monster also came out with XL plates of their original circle plate images and two new collections - Time Machine and Around the World Master sets. Have fun stamping guys and I will be back with more reviews for you soon.

Happy 4th of July weekend if you are celebrating this holiday.
