Kiesque Liquid Palisade review - does this really work? (or How I finally found the Magic)

Hi guys,

so today I have a special review for you. I have seen this product for months being used by Intagram nail art gurus but honestly, I did not think it is really real. But then I saw Nicolle from Young, Wild and Polished (YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5CLbqqdnKUzYNyS_kMbnIg) talk about this in one of her videos and decided to check it out.

Liquid Palisade from Kiesque
If you follow me on Instagram (user name: nailsby_judinka123 http://instagram.com/nailsby_judinka123/) then you probably have seen me hauling this product. I got it directly from their website (this is a direct link to the product http://kiesque.com/beauty/liquid-palisade/) but I also saw that you can purchase it on Amazon. Even though I already decided that I want this product, the price tag through me off a little bit. They are asking $22 + shipping. So it took me few more days before I decided to commit to this product. Mostly, when you don't know much about a product they are asking so much money for, you still don't know if this is going to work or if it is just another way to get money out of your pocket.

It comes in this simple box and a tube.
So when I got home on Friday evening after a long day at work, I finally decided to treat myself and clicked check out to purchase the Liquid Palisade. I don't think they offer PayPal payments so I had to use other payment options for my purchase but the transaction was easy and smooth. I have received several e-mails informing me that my order is being processed and when it was shipped. I have to say the shipping was super fast; I think I had the envelope at my door by Tuesday the following week. My only concern was if the Liquid Palisade did not get destroyed due to the freezing temperature outside because it was only packaged in an envelope. The box was a little bit danged up as you can see in the pictures as well but other than that everything seem to be working well. They also include a card with a description on how to use this product and and A4 page with different ways to use the Liquid Palisade.

This pink-purple liquid is applied with this brush applicator. So easy to use and it picks up the right amount of product.
One thing I have to bring to your attention is the scent of this product. I am usually not too sensitive to scents but this one is really bad. Or at least it reminds me a bit of a dog food scent. It is nothing you can smell on your fingers once you applied it, but when you open the tube, be prepared for something unpleasant. When you unscrew the lid you will find a brush applicator that picks up just enough product to apply it around your nails and cuticles; however, I find myself dipping it in the tube 2-3 times just to make sure that I have an even layer. It is really easy to work with and as mentioned before it comes with instructions on how to use it.

One layer of the Liquid Palisade applied around my middle finger before stamping. Once it dries, it will turn darker and you know it is ready. It dries within seconds.
Once the Palisade has dried you are ready for your nail art. I did several stamping manicures applying this product around my nails and I have to say I never had so much fun when stamping. After you are done you just simply peel off the barrier (best way to do it is using tweezers) and that's it. You do not have to clean up any mess on your cuticles and skin and the results are also pretty amazing!!!

Once the barrier dries you can start with your nail art. This is an example of stamping. The image sticks to the Liquid Palisade and by using tweezers just peel it off. The entire process takes only seconds.
I definitely think that I found magic in this product and do not understand how could I live without it until now!!! Is this thing pricey? Yes! Is it worth the money you pay for it? Absolutely! So if you are like me; an unbeliever; trust me, this will change your life when you are a nail art lover and you do not have time to play around with the messy application and mess after stamping. Yes, there are other methods you can try to protect your skin around your nails and more cost effective alternatives for sure (but do you know what is really in those?), but I am convinced I will be purchasing this product for as long as I am into nail art and posting pictures.

It peels off easily not leaving any residues. And the best part is I did not have to do any cleaning!!!
There is only one warning I want to mention here. As per their instructions, if you have any skin or latex allergies, you should not be using this product. I hope this short review was helpful for you guys and let me know if you have already purchased your own Liquid Palisade from Kiesque or if you are still more into the old fashion ways? Stay warm and I talk to you all soon.
