June 2015 Ipsy beauty Subscription bag - short review

Hi guys,

hope you are all having a nice day. Today I have a very short review for you because after having three of my wisdom teeth pulled out, I am still recovering and I wanted to at least put down a few words for you.

As you may know I am subscribed to several subscription boxes - make up, nail polish and perfume related. I have already talked about Julep Maven and today we will be talking about Ipsy. Ipsy is another subscription that was brought to my attention while watching YouTube videos about 2 years ago. Ipsy is a $10 subscription bag that you receive monthly; however, unlike with Julep Maven, you do not have the option to skip a month if you are not interested in the bag.

City Color - HD Powder, Octavio - hair treatment, Bombshell - lip balm, Avene - cleaning gel and Tarte - bronzer
I have signed up for Ipsy through my Facebook page; but you can skip that; however, you might be placed on a waiting list for couple months. When signing up, you will be required to take a short beauty test to see what are your preferences;  but I am not sure if this really works as I am receiving products I do not like or use. You can always review your bag and receive points that you can redeem for extra items or in their discounted store.

To be honest, Ipsy has been recently a hit or miss for me but for now I am still keeping it as most items are great as a gift or stocking stuffer for Christmas. As you can see in the picture, the items I received this month are not too bad but after two years I have a feeling that I am getting the same items just from different brands.

On the good note, I have discovered a few great products through this subscription bag that I would have not bought or tried at all. If you are not too picky with your make up and you like to receive travel size to full size items, this is definitely a great way for you to go. You can either use my referral link  https://www.ipsy.com/new?refer=209l (I would only receive points that I could use on extras that come with Ipsy) or you can go directly to www.ipsy.com and sign up through their main web site.

Let me know, if any of you is subscribed to Ipsy and what is your experience with them. Are you also thinking about cancelling it or are you happy with your monthly bags? Thanks again for being here and I will talk to you all shortly.

And as always, please make sure you check out my other online homes and my links for subscriptions and products reviewed in my previous posts. Thank you for all your support.
