February 2015 R.I.P.-ies (part 1)

I am so sorry for not posting anything for such a long time. I have crazy days at work and did not get to sit down and post anything for almost 2 weeks now. Even today, I am trying to post this real quick before I need to turn on my work computer and get some work done.

In my today's post I will be talking about a few products I have recently used up and my thoughts on them. Today I will be talking about these 4 products:

Dry Shampoo, Shower Gel, Body and Facial Cream (my used up products)

Not Your Mothers - dry shampoo

How did I like it? - I have to say I like this product a lot. So much that I prefer it from any other dry shampoo I have tried. It does leave a white cast on my hair when I use a new can (that lasts maybe 2-3 uses) but never had any issues combing it out and getting rid of the white layer. I usually use it in the evening before bed but it is also great as a touch up and re-fresher between hair washes during day.

Will I buy it again? - This is the only dry shampoo I currently use. I have purchased this dry shampoo several times and already have a back up. I have normal, auburn colored hair and it works great for me. Even if you get white cast it is easy to brush it out from your hair and the hair looks nice. This is such a good product in my opinion and if you were unsure if to buy it; I would say give it a try. The price is right, it lasts for a while and you can easily find it in stores.

Olay - daily moisturizer

How did I like it? - If you follow my blog and Instagram account under user name nailsby_judinka123 (http://instagram.com/nailsby_judinka123/) you would know that I love Olay skin care products. And it is no different with this one. I usually use this particular cream before bed only because it does not have any SPF in it and for my daily moisturizer I do prefer at least SPF 10-15. However, if you do not care about the SPF, this is a great every day facial cream. It hydrates your skin yet won't leave you with an oily feel after applied. If you are on a budget and looking for a good facial cream, you should definitely try it. Also, when you buy it at a US drugstore, they do have great deals on Olay products in general.

Would I buy it again? - This particular facial cream was purchased by me 2 or 3 times already. I do not have it my current stash but the only reason for that is the fact that I need to go through several facial creams I got in my subscription boxes (ipsy, Memebox, etc.). But once I used them all up, I will probably buy it again. My skin is normal to combo and I really like the feel of this product when  applied to my face.

Love Olay skin care products; this is one no different. This does not have SPF so I use it for night time routine.

Marilyn Monroe shower gel 

How did I like it? - I got this shower gel in one of my Memebox-es. It is a small travel size sample and I got 5 or 6 uses out of this product. I did not personally like the scent too much but it wasn't bad either (just a personal preference). What I did not like too much about this shower gel was the way it lathered in the shower. I do prefer more foamy shower gels but this one did not do it for me. All in all it is an OK product but nothing that have wowed me. 

Would I buy it again? - I don't think so. I got this in a Memebox and I am not even sure how much it costs. If you like Marilyn Monroe, this might be a great selling point for you; or if you prefer shower gels that don't foam and change their consistency you will like this. It was OK for me but I was glad when it was gone.

Sea Rx - Body cream

How did I like it? - I got this sample size body lotion in my Ipsy bag. It was OK, used it only on my arms because the sample was too small and would have last me maybe for 1 tops 2 uses. It felt good on my arms but the truth is I don't remember this product that much. Nothing fancy or life changing. Another fine product that I was happy to try but I guess it is not the right product for me.

Would I buy it again? - It was in my Ipsy bag and the sample was too small to even be able to have a good or bad opinion on it. It was an OK body lotion but that is all I have to say. Maybe if the sample would have been bigger, I could tell you more about it. But right now I would say don't spend your money on it.

Another product from a subscription box - this time it was in my Ipsy bag. I don't even remember this product and the sample was too small.

So I hope this was helpful to you guys. As I said before, I will try to post more often in the month of February but with the current work load I am happy that I am still sane and alive. lol
